Q: What are your role and responsibilities at Birch Hill?
A: I’m a Manager, a Research Director, and a Co-Founder.

Q: What do you think Birch Hill’s best qualities are?
A: Our honest, sincere, and focused dedication to our clients.

Q: What about what you do brings you the most personal satisfaction?
A: Interactions with my clients and helping them solve problems; researching and picking successful stocks.

Q: When you’re not working, how do you spend your time?
A: I’m actively involved in two local not-for-profits. When I’m not engaged with them, I like to relax and cook with my wife, chase and be chased by my two lovely granddaughters, read, and build and fly model gliders and airplanes.

Q: When someone asks you what you do for a living, what do you tell them?
A: I’m an investment advisor. I try to provide steady guidance to families and individuals looking to grow their assets and protect their financial future.

Q: If you weren’t at Birch Hill, what do you think you’d be doing?
A: In my Walter Mitty life, I’m an aerospace engineer and an ace stunt aircraft pilot. In reality, since I enjoy research, politics, and finance, I’d probably be an economist.

Q: What words do you live by?
A: “Be kind, honest, and humble. And of course, buy low, sell high.”
